Thank you for shopping with Knotty Dogs. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help. Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

1. Online Purchases (Statutory Cancellation Right)

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, if you are buying online or by phone, you have the legal right to cancel your order up to 14 days after the day you receive your goods. You do not need to give a reason.

• To cancel: You must notify us by contacting hello@knottydogs.co.uk.
• Return period: Once you notify us of your cancellation, you have another 14 days to send the goods back to us unused. 

2. Eligibility for Returns & Refunds

To be eligible for a return:

• Your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
• It must also be in the original packaging.
• You need to provide a receipt or proof of purchase. 
• You are responsible for return/collection cost.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned, including:

• Perishable goods (like food or flowers).
• Custom or personalised items.
• Health and personal care items (if unsealed).

3. Faulty or Misdescribed Goods

By UK law (Consumer Rights Act), you have the right to a refund if goods are faulty, not fit for purpose, or not as described. 

• Within 30 days of receiving the item: You can claim an immediate full refund.
• Natural products will vary in appearance, size, texture. colour, smell, taste and weight.

4. The Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment, within 14 days of us receiving the returned goods. 

Shipping Returns

Unless the item is faulty or incorrectly described, you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
